As Chair of the NB Division Board of Directors, it is my sincere pleasure to welcome you to the NB Division, Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME). CME remains the premier voice for New Brunswick's manufacturing and exporting community.

The New Brunswick economy is increasingly focused on value-added manufacturing as well as exporting products and services world-wide. This means being competitive on a global scale. When I talk to business executives across the province, they are quick to point out the importance of the export market. Many of our Members rely on exporting for more than 80% of their business, whether it be to the United States, our largest trading partner, or elsewhere in the world. As trading blocks continue to develop around the world we strive continually to help members take advantage of opportunities created in new or existing markets.

Our Association endeavours to provide real value to your organization through a wide array of services. In addition, we actively liaise with and lobby both the Provincial and Federal Governments on matters of strategic interest and concern to our members. The NB Division also delivers practical seminars and training workshops on current issues affecting Members.
